that you wouldn’t like.
And you might also not find any future that
you are passionate about.
In that case,
take a risk, and
look at the world with a different view.
Out there in the wide open world
with its many futures.
Futures come and go on a consistent basis
With the decisions we take today.
When a new future comes to your mind,
Don’t worry.
Don’t overthink.
Just think of it’s possibility,
because it can be a good one, too.
Oh, the futures you might see.
So, make sure to take that first step, and
defintely plan for the next one, too.
But, don’t stop there.
You’ll never be behind, because you’re on your own time.
The future is yours, and it’s your mountain to climb.
Whatever you do, you’ll choose the best way to go.
Whatever you do, don’t rush, and take it slow.

It can be deceiving, and
It can change at the last second
You might be
So hopeful,
So excited,
So curious,
That you’ll want to know how it ends.
You’ll be looking for the answers
To the future you’re heading into.
You may feel like you’re going nowhere,
And may feel anxious, but do know
It’s not easy to plan for one future,
especially with two or more in mind.
You’ll come to a place where you’ll
doubt your choices and actions.
You’ll think that you’ve been making the best ones, but
What if the wrong ones were the right ones?
It’ll be hard to stop and think long enough to
consider all the positives and negatives.
Sometimes you don’t even have the time.
You’ll probably feel so confused
That you’ll settle with whatever future
The world wants you to go into.
A future that will not be meant for you.
A future that many people just accept.
A future where no one feels satisfied.
A future that has no purpose.
But you’re not that type of person:
Someone who lets others create a future for them.
NO! That’s not who you are.
Somehow you’ll feel more confident in yourself.
You’ll find your place in this world, and
Shape your own future however you like.
With your caring mindset,
And your bright heart,
You’ll be in charge of what you want.
Because you’re that kind of person.

Whether you like it or not. It’s just a part of the
journey into the unknown, and
It might present you with a future
that could be so full.

Through the deep sea ocean,
Where you’ve explored many times
But still have so much more to see
On and on you’ll swim.
And I know you’ll get so far and face uncertainty.
You’ll be open-minded,
In a way that wasn’t before.
You’ll be open-minded,
With the many futures you can go.
So, be sure to remember:
Choose with great care,
and plan with a big smile.
The future is never set in stone.
But it’s yours to choose alone.
