You know that feeling you get when you are listening to a song that you don’t want it to end? And if it does end, you do not hesitate to play that song over and over again.

Sometimes you find yourself singing a song word for word. Whether you sing in private or in a karaoke room, you make an effort to know how a song goes.
That shouldn’t be any different when it comes to a future you want. A future can be broken down into the simplest tasks needed for it to become a reality.
Learning to sing a song by memorizing word for word, is like creating a future by doing tasks after tasks.
Eventually, you learn how to sing a song by heart. Once you do, you can sing that song wherever and whenever. I’m pretty sure you’ll find yourself proud for doing so.
To you, that song meant something. It was unique, and for some reason, you just wanted to spend more time on it than usual.
It could have been a relatable song, or the music made your emotions bigger.
Similar to that song, there is a future out there that will make you feel the same way. A unique future, but in this case, it’s unique just for you.
Songs are always being interpreted differently by everyone.
So is the future.
When you are seeking out or adding songs to your liked playlist, bring over that mentality when you are planning for your future. Figure out the feeling you get when you enjoy a certain beat, a guitar chord, a piano key, or a specific line.
With that mentality and feeling, I’m sure planning for the future will be fun, and going after it will seem enjoyable. In this sense, you’re the musician and your song is your future.
